ABOUT FLOWERS AND THE DOG
My name is Jane. I am the creator of FLOWERS AND THE DOG.
FLOWERS AND THE DOG is a creative side project started during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the first few months of social distancing, I spent a lot of time at home and decided to start a 100-day creative challenge to cope with the new norm. The creative challenge gradually evolved into a series of illustrations about the daily story of the dog and some lovely flowers. The vision for FLOWERS AND THE DOG is to bring small doses of joy and happiness to everyone who still wishes to enjoy nature without a mask on, travel around the world, have a good laugh and celebrate small things in life. Following the 100-day creative challenge, I have been exploring new ways to continue the project and to push creative boundaries. I am recently working on several new series of oil paintings and ceramic figurines. I hope my delightful creations will help refresh mundane routines and bring more good vibes.
