The Activewear Pieces That Earn Their Place in Your Suitcase

Packing for a summer holiday is one of those things that sounds easy until you're faced with an overflowing suitcase and the realisation that you need outfits for airport days, sightseeing, dinners, and everything in between. The appeal of CSB's Travel Edit is its attempt to bridge that gap: comfortable, versatile pieces that don't feel like you're sacrificing style for practicality.

After trying several pieces from the collection, a couple immediately stood out as wardrobe winners for me.

My favourites were undoubtedly the black tracksuit pants and white crop top. I can see myself reaching for the trousers repeatedly (and am already doing this!), whether for travelling, running errands, or putting together a more relaxed outfit. I recently wore them for my local Sunday morning beach walk too. They're comfortable without feeling sloppy, and the quality of the fabric was immediately noticeable. The white crop top was another standout - simple, flattering, and easy to imagine styling with everything from the accompanying trousers to jeans or a skirt.

Across the pieces I tried, the overall feel was really good. The fabrics are soft, stretchy and comfortable, while still feeling substantial enough to suggest they're made to be worn regularly rather than just look good in a product photograph. That balance between comfort and a more considered, elevated aesthetic is where CSB does particularly well.

The Ballet Wrap Top, meanwhile, is a lovely piece, although I have to admit it's not quite my personal style. I can absolutely see it appealing to someone who enjoys a more feminine, ballet-inspired aesthetic, and it has that versatility the Travel Edit is aiming for; something that could work during the day and be dressed up for the evening.

One thing worth flagging is the sizing. I'm usually a UK 10 and found the medium pieces quite tight and generally on the smaller side. The stretch helps, but if you're between sizes or prefer your clothing with a little more room, I'd recommend considering sizing up.

Overall, CSB's Travel Edit makes a convincing case for investing in a few well-made leisurewear staples that can work beyond the gym. For me, the black tracksuit pants and white crop top were the clear winners: comfortable, good quality, and genuinely pieces I'd want to wear again. And isn't that ultimately what you want from anything making its way into an already overstuffed holiday suitcase?
