Sweet, Salty, and Everything In Between: A Look at Popcorn Kitchen’s Range

What I Tried
I tried a mouth-watering mix of products from Popcorn Kitchen—and this was no ordinary snack haul. The Summer Picnic Popcorn Selection caught my eye with its fun mix of flavours and ready-to-share portions, perfect for sunny days and impromptu snack spreads.
The box included:
Salted Caramel (100g)
White Choc & Raspberry (100g)
Lemon Drizzle (100g)
Chocolate Brownie (30g)
Cherry Bakewell (30g)
Blueberry Muffin (30g)
Cheddar Cheese (20g)
Sweet & Salt (100g)
Simply Sweet (100g)
Simply Salted (100g)
I also tried their Double Chocolate flavour, in the popcorn gift bottle, which was as indulgent as it sounds. They also sent a Giant Bottle of their classic Sweet & Salt (ideal for grazing), and a Pop-at-Home Jelly Bean Kit - a playful twist that made movie night feel like a full-on event.
Each product brought something a bit different to the table, but all delivered on flavour, fun, and that satisfying popcorn crunch.
How to Use It
Tear open the pack, pour into a bowl (or straight into your mouth - we won’t judge), and enjoy. No prep, no faff, just instant snack satisfaction.
For the Pop-at-Home Kit:
Pour the bottle contents into three separate bowls: one for the chocolate buttons, one for the jelly beans, and one for the popping kernels.
Add three teaspoons of oil and three popcorn kernels to a large covered pan.
Heat on a medium temperature until the three kernels pop.
Remove the 3 test kernels.
Pour the rest of the kernels into the hot pan and replace the lid.
When the popcorn starts popping, shake the pan now and then and keep it on the heat until the popping slows to 1–2 seconds between pops.
Pour the popcorn into a large serving bowl.
Take the milk chocolate buttons and place in a microwaveable bowl. Place in the microwave for 60 seconds on full power. Take the bowl out, stir, then microwave again if needed until completely melted.
Pour the melted chocolate onto the popcorn and mix well so it's evenly coated.
Place in the fridge for 15 minutes and then check that the chocolate has set.
Stir in the jelly beans.
My Experience & Results
Popcorn Kitchen completely won me over from the first bite. I loved the variety of flavours on offer - everything from classic Sweet & Salt to more indulgent options like Chocolate Orange or Rocky Road. The different bag sizes made it easy to grab a solo treat or something to share (if you’re feeling generous), and the selection packs are a brilliant way to try a few without committing to just one.
The Pop at Home kits were a real highlight - super fun, especially if you’ve got kids or just want to add a bit of theatre to your movie night. All in all, a delicious, feel-good brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously - and delivers every time.
About the Brand
Popcorn Kitchen was founded in 2012 with one mission: to prove that popcorn can be so much more than a bland cinema snack. Starting out with just a single kettle and a passion for proper, small-batch popping, they’ve built a brand rooted in simplicity, quality, and joy.
Every batch is hand-popped in the UK using 100% wholegrain corn and the kind of ingredients you’d actually find in your kitchen, not a lab. Their ethos? Keep it fun, a bit indulgent, and never take yourself too seriously. No gimmicks, no nonsense, just outrageously tasty popcorn made the old-fashioned way.
