Practical, Plant-Based Fuel: A Review of vybey

My Experience & Results

Starting with the Complete Nutrition Bars, the texture was the first pleasant surprise. They’re soft without being sticky, and filling without that heavy, overly dense protein-bar feel. In terms of results, I noticed they kept me full for a solid few hours without a blood sugar crash. They worked particularly well as a grab-and-go lunch on days when I’d forgotten to plan properly. Loved the 20g protein hit and how convenient they are; didn’t love that if you’re very sweet-sensitive, the white chocolate flavour might feel a touch rich.

The Smart Hydration+ sachets from vybey were where I was most intrigued. The flavours are genuinely refreshing. Lemon & Lime is crisp and clean (not overly artificial), Tropical feels like a subtle fruit blend rather than a sugar bomb, and Watermelon is light and easy to drink.

After the first use, I noticed a visible difference in afternoon brain fog, particularly on long writing days. The combination of electrolytes with nootropics gives a slightly more sustained lift compared to standard hydration powders. It’s not jittery like caffeine, more of a steady clarity. I also found I was less tempted to reach for a second coffee.

Loved the multi-functional formula (hydration plus cognitive support feels clever rather than gimmicky); didn’t love that if you prefer completely unsweetened drinks, you may need a couple of sips to adjust to the flavour profile.
