Little Rick Drinks: Honest Review
I recently tried Little Rick’s drinks, and while I really wanted to love them, they weren’t quite the right fit for my taste. The flavours are definitely vibrant and fruity, but I found the drinks much sweeter than I personally prefer. After a few sips, I found the sweetness a little overpowering and, for me, they became quite sickly rather than feeling light and refreshing.
I think I would have enjoyed them much more if the flavours had a little more tartness or acidity to balance out the sweetness. I tend to prefer drinks that are crisp and refreshing, particularly when they’re fruit-based, so this ultimately came down to personal preference rather than there being anything inherently wrong with the product.
That said, I can absolutely see these appealing to someone who enjoys sweeter, fruit-forward drinks. They have plenty of flavour and are certainly not lacking in taste — they’re just sweeter than I personally enjoy. If you’re someone who likes a more refreshing, less sweet drink, you may find them a little much, but if sweeter flavours are your thing, Little Rick could be worth giving a try.
Women are angry - and justifiably so. It feels as though the world is fighting against us, with rights we fought so hard for being stripped away and the increasing rates of femicide. In the face of this, rage is not only understandable but essential. Jennifer Cox, author of Women Are Angry and cohost of the wildly funny and honest podcast, Women Are Mad, is one of the voices at the forefront of this movement, helping women feel safe and ok in their anger. Her book gives shape and language to our collective anger that has made us feel silenced and dismissed for so long.
