Alleviating exam stress through meditation

As a 16 year old, when my mum nudged me to start meditating, I felt very apprehensive, but eager to listen.

After experiencing the two day Beeja Meditation course and practicing it by myself, I immediately had a clearer mind and better focus which turned out to be ideal for my studies.

I suffered from anxiety before exams in the form of vomiting, as well as a lack of focus and drive in the actual exam room. However after several months of sitting with myself twice a day for 20 minutes, this anxiety slowly eased off and a self-confidence grew within me, the classroom and the exam hall.

There is an endless list of benefits to meditation but for me, reduced anxiety and  increased focus and drive have been the major changes to my life.
